DONALD LAWRENCE'S 'CONFESSION' #2 ON BILLBOARD: Singer's new CD off to great start.

Donald Lawrence's "The Law of Confession," a transformational collection of masterful songs, has landed him the highest selling first week of his career and a #2 position on Billboard's Top Gospel Chart. Additionally, the CD is the #2 Christian/Gospel Title on iTunes and #71 on Billboard's Top 200 Chart.

His first solo set since 2004, the new project was inspired by the forthcoming book "The Law of Confession" by Bill Winston (shepherd of Chicago's Living Word Christian Center where the project was recorded live). The collection revolves around a simple Biblical tenet: "A law is simply a principle, based on the predictable consequence of an act."
