You Must Watch These!: Democratic National Committee on what to do about Florida & Michigan

Most of ya'll know I spent the weekend getting ready for our choir's 25th Anniversary "OVATION" concert, but I had to peek in on the foolywang that was going on Saturday– the one where they decided what to do about Florida and Michigan.

Let me just tell ya’ll, it was worth it.  The star of the day? Donna Brazile!

Most notably, her comment on ‘cheatin’!  I almost jumped up and said “Amen!  Tell It Sistah!”

As most fellow obsessed political watchers know, Florida and Michigan both were seated at half strength (meaning all delegates and superdelegates have half a vote).

The Clinton people then proceeded to feign OUTRAGE at the fact that 4 of Hillary Clinton’s delegates were ‘awarded’ to Obama, even though he wasn’t on the ballot. This was decided by the Michigan Democratic Party, not Obama, but no matter. The committee ACTUALLY voted to give Obama more in the form of a 50-50 split, but Obama’s people concededto receive LESS than that. But Hillary’s people were still mad.

How mad were they? Well. If you watched the DNC meeting you would have heard screaming, yelling and fussing from a small group of Hillary supporters (let’s also note that they claimed 10K people were gonna show up on HIllary’s behalf to voice outrage and unfortunately for them, 300 people showed up)

They proceeded to go into MELT DOWN during the meeting votes and afterwards.. most notably, this one:

Well, I'm surprised that she just didn't go and call him an N word!!!!

Props to the Obama Campaign for telling it’s supporters to stay home… as we now see that the Hillary folks were left to make fools of themselves for the entire world to see. Not a good look.

So, now where are we?

Hillary claims she’s fighting on, and claiming to lead in the popular vote. Even though that is only true if she designates all of Michigan to her and her only, and ignores all the caucus state votes.

Hillary wins Puerto Rico… but they only had 16% turnout and don’t have a say in the general election.
Let’s see.. oh yeah, Hillary’s top supporters are saying it’s over even if she isn’t. Though it is unexpected for Hillary to concede anytime soon, peculiar things are happening. Like uhhh…. on the last primary day (this upcoming tuesday) she’ll bein her home state, and she’s shedding staff members. Political Conventional Wisdom states that if a candidate is conceding or suspending their campaign, they do so in their home state. Let’s not forget that Obama is expected to do well in South Dakota and Montana, the last 2 primaries to occur.
