Obama Under Fire...As Usual!!

A few days ago, Sen. Barack Obama spoke about frustrations that working people in the U.S. are feeling and said:
“It’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”
Since then, he has fought accusations from Sens. Hillary Clinton and John McCain that he is an “elitist and out of touch”. Clinton released an ad Monday featuring reactions of her Pennsylvania supporters who say they were “insulted” by Obama’s recent comments.
On Saturday, Obama explained his remarks:
“I said something that everybody knows is true, which is that there are a whole bunch of folks in small towns in Pennsylvania, in towns right here in Indiana…who are bitter.
They are angry. They feel like they’ve been left behind. That’s a natural, natural response.” [ Read the article in its entirety. ]
Obama also added, “I didn’t say it as well as I should have.” A recent Gallup poll shows he is virtually unaffected by the “bitter” controversy.
