NEWS ROUNDUP: CONDITIONS WORSE FOR BLACK MALES?
According to a recent poll conducted by CNN and Essence, many people think conditions have improved for black women over the past decade but not for black men.
The survey showed 65 percent of blacks and 70 percent of whites believed black females were better off today than they were 10 years ago.
While 60 percent of whites think conditions have improved for black men, only 35 percent of blacks felt the same.
